DocuFun app terms of use
These terms apply to the DocuFun app for Android (“the app”), provided by NextOne Labs LLC (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using the app you agree to them, and to the Google Play Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. The website docufun.com has its own terms.
The app
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for as long as you follow these terms. The app and its name, logo, design and code belong to NextOne Labs LLC.
Free version and ads
The app is free to download and use, with ads and some features limited to DocuFun Pro. How ads work is explained in the app privacy policy.
DocuFun Pro
DocuFun Pro unlocks every feature and removes ads. You can buy it as a subscription (monthly or yearly) or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app and on Google Play, in your local currency, before you buy, and may include taxes.
Subscriptions renew automatically
Subscriptions are billed through your Google Play account and renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the then-current price, unless you cancel before the renewal date. Google Play will tell you before any price increase.
Free trials
Some plans include a free trial, such as 7 days on the yearly plan. The trial length is shown before you start it. You won’t be charged during the trial. If you don’t cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts and your Google Play payment method is charged automatically. Trials are available once per Google account, under Google Play’s eligibility rules.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time in the Google Play Store app under Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, or from the app’s Settings. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. After you cancel, Pro stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
Refunds
Payments are handled by Google Play, and refunds follow Google Play’s refund policy. You can request a refund through Google Play. Except where the law requires otherwise, we do not give refunds or credits for partly used periods.
Lifetime purchase
The lifetime option is a one-time payment, not a subscription, and never renews. It unlocks DocuFun Pro for as long as we offer the app, on Android devices signed in to the same Google account. Use “Restore purchases” in the app if Pro doesn’t appear on a new device.
Acceptable use
You are responsible for the documents you open and create, and for having the right to use them. Do not use the app to break the law or anyone else’s rights. Do not copy, modify, resell or reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it, and do not interfere with its ads or purchases.
Your documents
Your documents remain yours. The app processes them on your device, and we get no rights to them. Some documents may look different from the program that created them, so keep your originals.
Other services
The app relies on Google Play (downloads and purchases), Google Play services and ML Kit (scanning and text recognition), your device’s text-to-speech service (read aloud) and AppLovin MAX (ads in the free version). Their own terms apply to those services.
No warranty
We work hard to make the app reliable, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Always keep copies of important files.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NextOne Labs LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits or documents, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
Ending these terms
You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it (and cancelling any subscription in Google Play). We may suspend or end your licence if you break these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date above shows when they last changed. If a change is significant, we will let you know in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Trademarks
Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint are trademarks of Microsoft Corporation. Other names are trademarks of their respective owners. DocuFun is independent and not affiliated with them.
